Melinda talks about her boyfriend. Danny meets her on the top of the mountain thing. The roommates meet each other for the first time. Danny gets fucking punched in the face and needs surgery. Ain't that crazy? Danny talks to the doctor on the phone. Danny says the doctor has to pop the bones out. Danny wants to see the tape to see the guy and press charges. It's about a week after the surgery, he'll feel better. Rachel says Danny is pulling away from Melinda because he feels ugly. Nehemiah tells Melinda to step back and look at your other relationship back home with Jason. She talks with Jason. She says it's a bad conversation. He hangs up on her mid-conversation. How awesome is that? They get their job tomorrow. Lacey is worried about it being a Texas thing. Melinda wants to raise Danny's spirits. Danny says he'll wear the bandaid the whole time if Melinda pays him attention. Melinda stays home with Danny. Johanna wants to go out and party. They lay in bed together. Nehemiah is rapping on stage. They look like their cuddling in bed with each other. They were making out and stuff then the whole crew comes on in.

They all go outside to go to the cab, just a few minutes late. Wes doesn't wanna clean up shit at a rodeo. John is a film director. They're making a 15 minute documentar. South By Southwest concert and the biggest concert in Austin. This is a kick ass job. Nehemiah is gonna take lead because he took this stuff up in school. Melinda calls her boyfriend up again. It sounds like more trouble in paradise. She's crying. Just end it, bitch. He's writing her off. Good for him. Melinda says you don't say that shit to somebody that you really love. Nehemiah says Melinda feels unwanted. Lacey says the guy sounds very selfish. She says even if she hates him, she wouldn't say that. Nehemiah tells her, Danny cares about you and is in the other room. He is interested in her and does care about her. Danny wants to support her.

Paul Steckler introduces himself. They meet their helpers with sound and film. They have famous bands and new bands there at the same time. They go to a workshop. Jason e-mails Melinda that he's sorry and blah blah blah. Melinda says when she wanted that stuff, he said no, but now he wants it. They split up twice and have been together for 3 years. They alwasy argued and shit. Johanna is very supportive of Melinda. Melinda calls Jason. She says that it's basically over. She says she's tired of being the better man. She's happy that she's standing up for herself and likes the way Dany treats her and shit. Melinda says it's done. She says she's never dumped somebody. Melinda tells Danny that she's never hurt somebody so bad. Danny says maybe you should take time off from relationships. She wants to be in a relationship with Danny. Danny says he's gonna take it has it comes. Nehemiah says he saw and felt the connection from when they walked into the door together.
